Media release: Tasmanian Patients to Benefit from the Latest Advances in Chiropractic Care

An Internationally recognised medical researcher specialising in researching chiropractic outcomes and its effect on the body, will be updating and imparting his extensive knowledge to Tasmania’s Chiropractors this weekend in Hobart.

Dr Anthony L. Rosner PhD is the Research Director of the International College of Applied Kinesiology in Massachusetts USA, and is in Australia at the invitation of the Chiropractors Association of Australia (CAA) Tasmania.

Spokesman for the Tasmanian Branch of the CAA, Dr Stephen Crean, said treatment of patients by chiropractors in the State rates alongside the best treatment available anywhere in the world, and was looking forward to the latest research presented by Dr Rosner.

Dr Crean said demand for chiropractic care is increasing as the number of Australians affected by back pain reaches the 2 million mark. We have an aging population, Chiropractic’s message is simple; good spine, good movement equals good health. 215,000 Australians visit a Chiropractor every week.

Australian Chiropractors have a 5 year university degree and ongoing education is paramount to maintaining the high standard of care expected of our chiropractors.
