4hrs With Brian Kelly
The Inner Game of Chiropractic
Dr.Kelly is a turnaround specialist.
He knows how to build businesses and inspire people to take massive action. He built a large multi-doctor practice in Melbourne, has been president of 2 Chiropractic colleges and led the turnaround of a major research organisation. He studied business at the University of Waikato, was the Victorian CAA Chiropractor of the years and the International Chiropractor of the Year for Parker Seminars.
This will be invaluable to chiropractic teams and you are encouraged to bring your CA's along with a heavily subsidised price for members. There are limited numbers for this first session so it will be a first come first serve basis.
4.5hrs with John Kelly: Great Expectations (4.5hrs FLA approved)
The History, Examination, Diagnosis, and Patient Management in 2017: A Case Based Learning Program
This program will review from a very dynamic perspective the current requirements in history, examination, diagnosis and management strategies expected of a chiropractor practising in 2017.
The strategy for obtaining relevant case histories will be reviewed from the perspective of deficiencies noted in recent litigation matters. Understanding this issue from the perspective of the most recent Code of Conduct for Chiropractors will also be reviewed.
Patient examination with due consideration to orthopaedic and neurological testing in association with chiropractic examination will also be presented in relation to recent litigation matters where examination has found to be wanting. Establishing a clinical impression or working diagnosis in conjunction with a differential diagnosis will be reviewed from a medical and chiropractic perspective.
Appropriate patient management strategies will consider techniques from myofascial work, low force techniques, flexion distraction, mobilisation and manual adjusting procedures with specific reference to appropriate patient selection. Throughout the presentation, litigation cases will render this material very real. Is it time to sharpen your pencil? Come along and find out.
It is unlikely CA's would find this of value
The AGM will be held at 6:45 with dinner provided for CAA members after for those interested.
