The "Real" Science of Chiropractic
Dr Matthew Long from Chiropractic Development International will be holding an 8hr seminar in Hobart.
The seminar will cover the following topics:
Historical subluxation models don't do justice to the true complexity of spinal disorders.
Are we getting 'philosophy' and 'theory' confused?
While contemporary chiropractic technique models are useful, they are very incomplete. As such, we need to upgrade our understanding.
What truly goes on within the spine and nervous system of our patients?
What is the role of the brain?
What does an adjustment really do?
How does patient expectation and placebo influence the outcome?
Why do some people respond, and not others? Is it you, or is it them? Is it genetics?
How do you explain all of this to medicos, and to your patients?
This will be held on Saturday July 8th for 8 hours of formal CPD.
